How To Become Superman (Advice For Men)

23 Aug

Dear Brothers, Fathers, Sons, Men in our lives,

Due to popular demand, i’ve going to talk about some stuff that will teach you how to be a real man in life.
Some of you may disagree or find it offensive, but this post represents my views, my thoughts and perceptions which are true to my core.

So what makes a man, a Man? A man is someone who lives everyday to his true purpose in life.
Whether his purpose is to become a CEO of a multi-billionaire company or to command a herd of sheep,
as long as he aligns his daily life to his true purpose in life, he is a man.

A man is someone who recognizes fear but still faces it head on if he knows that it will bring it closer to his true purpose in life.
He is willing to take risks, step out of his comfort zone and travel into the unknown but also knows his limits and borders on this
limits in search of his true self.

A man is someone who sticks to his true self, his core, his principles in life, recognizing that his principles might change
under the due influence of others as long as this change, after thorough consideration and reflection, would help him be
a better man and at the same time not stray from his true values in life. A man who would not sway under persuasion just
to “please” others.

A man who will promise to himself that he will live everyday of his life to his full abilty and will not settle for anything less. Showering his family, friends and lover with his manly gifts. A man who is passionate in his everyday endeavours and is enthusiastic, motivated and confident in his every thought and action.

Dear men, I challenge each and everyone of you to exercise the ways of the superior man. If you have yet to discover, find your true purpose in life, align your life to your true purpose and live your every single day of your life, motivated, passionate and willing to do whatever it takes to live your life to your full ability and shower everyone with your manly gifts. If you feel sleepy or lethargic, your body needs rest.
Rest it, wake up and continue living to your full capacity. I challenge you to wake up everyday and tell yourself – I know what is my true
purpose in life and I know I am living my everyday working towards it, while achieving a balance in life and also living my life to my full ability.

On a side note, I realized being in Muar for too long has negative effects on my personal development. Its been awhile
since I hungout with people who help me realize who I truly am and people who can motivate me to live life
life to my fullest. I must admit I do lose track of my true purpose sometimes.
Lucky I realized that and I am  re-aligning my life to this purpose.

“…low cost is not a unique selling proposition.

Hope by Massimo Valiani

The minute I heard those words, I knew it was not going to go well. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, I will not be deterred nor discouraged.

You see, the panel wants to ensure that they are giving the money to profitable businesses. They don’t want to give me 150K just so I can fail within the 1st 2 years of going out to market. From this session, I have gained valuable input which would help me really craft the perfect business model that will revolutionize the healthcare industry. I know what I have to do and I am going to take action. Not tomorrow, not next week, but now.

I see not a glimmer of hope, but a land full of exciting oppurtunities that lie beyond the mountains of uncertainty.

Next round, I will come back stronger and harder ;)

Be Realistic!

10 Aug

I’m tired but there’s an important lesson that I think I should be posting up. I get excited about things easily, and when I get excited about something I tend to think its going to make me rich. Thats when I lose focus and forget the core fundamentals such as forecasting sales and other stuff like seeing whether the business would be successful in the long term. I should stop being compulsive and start being more realistic. Business isn’t a walk in the part and if i’m going to go into it i’m going to have to start educating and learning how to do things right.

Lucky my brother slapped some sense into me and I think after tonight I will be alot more critical towards ideas that come by.

Another important thing I learnt tonight whenever you come across an idea

- Set Goals , Strategize , and Pick My Battles.

-e.g if you want to make RM10K worth of passive income, plan exactly how you are going to make that happen. if its too difficult, pick another battle.

My Thoughts On Procrastination

8 Aug

I’m devastated!

I just wasted an amazing opportunity for an internet marketing joint venture with a very good internet marketer. Reason? Procrastination. I have nobody to blame but myself. I could have gotten it done months ago but I procrastinated for some reason.

Comic from gocomics.com

End result? Not only did I potentially lose the chance to make some cash for myself, I also lost the trust of that person. Ironically, recently i’ve been reading two books that somehow really  relate to this scenario, namely The Speed Of Trust by Stephen M.R. Covey and Awakening The Giant by Anthony Robbins. Both are great reads btw. Nevertheless, i will take this as a hard lesson for myself and come back even stronger than ever. As to whether trust can be re-established, it will have to depend on my own effort and also by proving results. The most trustable people are people who can produce results.

As for Awakening The Giant, Tony Robbin explains that people take action based on their perceptions on whether the action will produce pain or pleasure. For example, I procrastinated because I perceived the pain of working two jobs (hospital work and internet marketing) in a day as more painful than losing out on the opportunity of the joint venture. Of course I didn’t expect it back then but now that it happened I can feel the pinch.

Have you ever procrastinated something that you know you should be doing? Firstly, ask yourself why are you procrastinating. Then reflect on the consequences on procrastination and see which would cause you more anguish.

Officer Ng

4 Aug

Been doing enforcement in JB. What’s “enforcement”? Well basically its like a Police Officer, Customs Officer and Office Boy all into one =)

But i’m not here to talk about work. (or rather work im not passionate about). I’m here to inspire you guys with something juicy I discovered on the newspaper while killing time in the office. Oops hope boss doesn’t see this =P

So I was reading this interview with a Forex expert coz I was interested in what its all about. But what really struck me wasn’t the forex stuff, it was some random words of wisdom provided by the Forex guru in response to one of the questions:

Q: Please share with us your four step plan for success

A:

1) Choose a truly meaningful goal (one that would blow you qaway if you achieve it) and not something you are not passionate about.

2) Define what needs to be done with surgical precision – Clarity is POWER – if we know everything that needs to be done, we are 1000x more closer to that being our reality.

3)Schedule it and lock the door behind you. Make is an unmovable appointment and do something that commits you 100% – make it more painful to back out.

4) Get around the pathwalkers. (in other words go spend time with like minded people) because their reality and beliefs are consistent with yours – and this will rub off you.

There you have it. 4 Simple sentences which are really sound advice in my opinion. Especially point 2. We all should write down exactly what we have to  do in order to achieve our goals. I have done that already and I will be applying it ASAP.
